As the Social Media Director for Gengras Motor Cars from June 2021 to June 2023; I oversaw and managed all aspects of Social Media for Gengras’s 9 multimillion dollar car dealerships.

The Social Media success we achieved at Gengras Motor Cars was due to the fact that we are easy to find on every platform. Each Gengras Dealership was able to be found on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google My Business Account.

In total, I managed 63 accounts to which we posted new vehicle updates, how to videos, special offers, and more daily. The goal of Social Media for Gengras Motor Cars was simple; drive website traffic to convert leads, schedule appointments, and then eventually sell inventory or service vehicles.

Running the show was truly a team effort. To make it all possible I worked together with 9 General Managers, 18 Sales Managers, and over 40 Sales People to make it all happen.

During my Senior year at the University of Connecticut, I was the Social Media Manager and Outreach Chair for the Student Union Board of Governors (SUBOG).

Our mission was to improve the student body experience by organizing and planning events such as the Fall and Spring Concerts, Homecoming, Food Truck Festivals, and more.

As the Social Media Manager, I grew our following on Instagram by over 1,000 people in two semesters. I redesigned our brand guide and coordinated our feed to make SUBOG more recognizable, and created over 125 graphics through Adobe Illustrator to promote SUBOG events.

SUBOG is still going strong. You can check them out on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/subogatuconn/?hl=en
